HUNTER Screw Extractor Set

HUNTER SCREW EXTRACTOR SET – Great for removing broken, damaged, stripped screws, bolts and studs. Each set contains various sizes of drill bits with a reversed thread.

First you want ensure that you are using a bit that is SMALLER than the screw you are trying to remove. That way it has enough room to drill a proper sized hole to extract. Slowly start to drill a hole into the screw head or bolt with the cutting size. Reverse your drill and start slow to allow the threads to catch. Continue to screw or drill until the bolt or screw is fully removed.

Guide for using screw extractors:

1. Drill a hole in the threaded part or fastener to be removed.

2. Drill deep enough for the extractor to grip without bottoming out.

3. For best results, use a left-handed drill bit.

4. Insert the extractor and turn with a wrench or drive tool.
