BUILDERS BOND Coloured Acrylic Sealant 500g

BUILDERSBOND Colored Acrylic Sealant is a water based paintable acrylic joint sealant for use in sealing expansion and other joints in residential construction work and tiling. It is traditionally used as an economical gap filler, commonly used in interior and exterior decoration. Widely used in construction purposes, covering all kinds of cracks and gaps, expansion joints between prefabricated building elements, and assembly of wood, PVC, iron and aluminum joinery, plastering of joinery, sealing of joints, combination of eternit, aluminum roof and facade cladding plates. Not suitable for use in locations subject to direct water exposure.

Uses:

– Filling gaps between baths, basins, shower hobs and tiles.

– Expansion joints in brickwork and tiled walls.

– Sealing around architraves, window and door frames.

– Patching up tile grouting.

Application:

– All surfaces must be clean, dry, sound and free of dust, oil, old sealant or other contamination. Cut tip off plastic nipple. Screw on nozzle and load into cartridge gun. Cut nozzle to desired size. With gentle trigger pressure, dispense sealant into joint. Use a spatula to tool off to desired finish. Allow to dry before coming into contact with water.

Cure time: Cure in 3 to 7 days. The lower the temperature or higher the humidity will result in longer curing times.
